EP 100 Making Laughter a Part of Your Life

Why is it so important for us to laugh, that there are actual careers dedicated to making us laugh?

A positive result of the pandemic is the explosion of the gig economy.

If you’re considering trying something non-traditional yet fun and helpful, consider making others laugh.  Go to a comedy club and give the open mic a try, or perhaps you can lead a laughter yoga class, or you can join an improv group…

Make the most of 2022 by adding Relax and Recharge, A Society of Milestone Divas Summer Retreat, to your schedule of events.

Join other Milestone Divas, women aged 50 and older, for this oceanside retreat, at the beautiful Shores Resort and Spa, in Daytona Beach Shores, FL, from August 5 to 8, 2022. Enjoy a few days of relaxation, taking time for yourself to recharge after enduring the pandemic, and making new friends.

Contact: Chynell Jefferson, Travel Advisor at Holiday Cruises and Tours for Retreat & Hotel Reservations by telephone at (850) 386-7327 Ext. 206. For more information go to www.funseas.com/milestonedivas

Episode 65 Laugh and Live Well with Brenda Alloco

Which type of laughter did you engage in most recently?  Was it belly laughter, nervous laughter, or stress relieving laughter?

Our guest today, Brenda Alloco left the corporate world due to high stress and anxiety issues.  While looking at a few TEDx and You Tube videos, she came across an individual who was delivering a session on laughter yoga.  WOW! Laughing intentionally has proven health benefits.  Laughing is a form of aerobic exercise.  Laughter Yoga can be done at any age and be modified to any physical challenge.  Brenda became certified and is currently teaching a monthly class.

Today’s program was brought to you by Replay Fitness Feel Good Again, helping women aged 50 and older to retire happy and feel good again!
